Books & Books is partnering with Uplift Literacy for a book drive in support of the ReadingPals Program, a statewide early literacy initiative that provides volunteer mentors for students from Pre-K to 3rd grade who may need extra help, utilizing one-on-one or small group settings. All books and gift cards purchased from this page will be donated to help support the ReadingPals volunteer reading program. This academic school year, more than 500 hours of reading interventions were provided at 12 school sites across Miami-Dade County.

Research shows that children who learn to read well at an early age will not only read more independently, they'll also perform better in math, social studies, and science.
