"Frenetic, elegant and beautiful, Grrrrrringo is a gem" - Junot Diaz, 2008 Pulitzer Prize Winner
Grrrringo is a travelogue with drawings made by Ingo Giezendanner in Dominican Republic and Haiti in 2013. The journey takes us from Washington Heights, the Dominican area of NY, to Santo Domingo and Port au Prince, and leads into a personal visual exploration of urban spaces in both sides of the island.
Ingo Giezendanner (Switzerland,1975) is a painter and installation artist based in Zurich. Since 1998, Ingo Giezendanner, alias GRRRR, has been documenting the urban spaces in which he has travelled and lived.
