About the Author
Eric Holzenberg is the director of the Grolier Club, America's oldest and largest society for bibliophiles and enthusiasts in the graphic arts. He has written numerous articles, and lectured widely on topics in bibliography, bibliophily, and book history.
A former president of the Grolier Club, William Helfand was a collector specializing in prints, posters, and similar memorabilia documenting the peddling of spurious pills, potions, and other medical treatments across the centuries in the United States and beyond.
